It must be spring fever that is affecting everyone in the South Bay, because the new design trends for home interior are bold, bright, and warm.
According to Realty Times, the trendsetters are picking vibrant paint colors this season. The website Pantone says that their Color of the Year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid, which they describe as “an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones.” Switch a bland beige wall out for a pastel. Make it modern with metallic gold instead of silver. Use light-grained wood instead of the darker cherry and brown colors that can make your home look darker, and light wood is all the rage for furniture, countertops, floors, and a great accent for bright paint colors.
Granite is out! Bright and bold is in!
