The Astounding $53 Million Rolling Hills Property You Have Got To See

I usually like to focus my attentions on Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, but I always like to keep my eyes on the Palos Verdes Peninsula as well. The truly astounding Rolling Hills property Hacienda de la Paz, currently owned by Viva Food Group CEO John Z. Blazevich, is now on the market for $53 million, and it is probably the largest and most impressive luxury property in the entire South Bay at the moment.

Blazevich spent 17 years building this 51,000 square foot estate, on eight acres, with 25 bathrooms, a five-story indoor tennis court, a 10,000 square foot hammam (traditional Turkish bath), and custom gold-leafing throughout the entire property. The official address is 1 Buggy Whip Drive, and it has some of the best ocean views in all of Southern California. Some more details: designed by Classical Spanish architect Raphael Manzano Martos and architect Anthony Inferrera, and all interior design is by Bruno and Manuel Gavira with some decorative painting by Nicholas Luca de Tena. That’s a top-notch team and a great combination of artists.

Marcie Hartley of Hilton and Hyland is the listing agent in case you’d actually like to see this breathtaking beauty, and the property even has its own personal website (www.haciendadelapaz.com). The property has been featured by Forbes, CurbedLA, The LA Times, and even CNN Money. This just might be the most famous home in the South Bay right now.
