Top-producing Realtor® Alison Clay-Duboff grew up on the Westside and graduated from Beverly Hills High School. She then studied for two years at the American College in Paris, where she got her start in global real estate by assisting foreign nationals with their housing requirements. A South Bay resident since 2001, she owns Alison Is Real Estate and joined RE/MAX Execs Beach Cities in December 2011. She and her husband have an “international Brady Bunch” family, including two puppies, a grandson, a nephew, a daughter-in-law and five grown children.
“I TRY AND MODEL MY SERVICE AFTER FOUR SEASONS HOTELS. THEIR AIM IS TO BE GUEST-CENTRIC, SO I FOLLOW THEIR SUCCESSFUL ACHIEVEMENT AND STRIVE TO REMAIN CUSTOMER-CENTRIC.”
Tell us why you joined RE/MAX.
“RE/MAX is a global force—present in more than 80 countries around the world. I have many clients who wish to purchase in foreign countries and clients from overseas who want to purchase in South Bay/U.S.”
What would you like potential clients to know about you?
“I am dedicated to my clients. I am a fierce negotiator. I am a persistent, results-driven achiever.”
What’s your favorite office/efficiency tool that you use to stay on top of things in your business?
“My car is my mobile office, with my iPhone at my side and my tablet at the ready. I can draft an offer or respond to a counter offer (while my husband drives, of course!) Where else can the beach and the beautiful South Bay be an office?”
Do you think that trusting your instincts is important in order to grow your business?
“I am a very intuitive person. I believe I have a gift at sensing what subtext issues are important to my clients, and that is greatly rewarded in referral business.”
How do you give back to your community?
“I am a relentless Rotarian but also volunteer with other organizations. A highlight this year was being on the advisory board of the Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series.”
What does the future hold for your company?
“RE/MAX Execs Beach Cities will continue to use technology to be responsive and efficient to the need of the consumer. There is a growing preference toward national brand brokerage companies. With our recent growth into 15 offices, we cater to the most professional agents in the industry—giving RE/MAX dominance in the South Bay real estate market into the future.”
